In accordance with the effective Law of Georgia – complete general education; Enrollment at program is made on the basis of Unified National Exams (ranking document) except for the cases, provided for by the Law of Georgia On Higher Education (enrollment without Unified National Exams shall be made in special cases, specified in accordance with the rules, specified under the Law), additional requirement - Proficiency in English at least B2 level (Proficiency in the required level is confirmed either by an internal examination conducted at BNTU, or by submitting a document - Proof of education in English in Georgia / abroad (certificate / diploma), diploma Supplement / certificate of the diploma containing the relevant information issued by the foreign / Georgian HEI, etc. Certificates issued by Organization / representation / other, authority with relevant right. International Certificates TOEFL PBT, TOEFL IBT, British Council and Cambridge University English Language Examinations (IELTS), British Council and Cambridge University English Language Examinations (Cambridge Exam), Cambridge ESOL Examination of Cambridge University and / or others. In accordance with the effective Law of Georgia, continuation of study by this Bachelor’s program is possible by mobility for BNTU and other higher educational institution students of the same higher education stage educational programs (Compatibility of study outcomes already achieved by students with this program shall be established in compliance with the regulations, relating to the recognition of education (credits), effective in BNTU in accordance with the Law of Georgia). As well as, In accordance with the Law of Georgia and statutory documents of International Maritime Organization (International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978/95, as amended in 2010) corresponding health condition shall be the precondition for admission to programme, which is necessary for learning of specific programme components and achievement of planned study outcomes. Health condition is indicated in corresponding medical certificate, which is issued by medical institution, approved by the Maritiem Transport Agency of Georgia (see, list of medical institutions at Agency’s website www.mta.gov.ge).
