Entry requirements:

Electrical Engineers, Electrical-Electronics Engineers, Electronics and Communication Engineers undergraduate degree holders who scored at least 55 on the ALES exam (organized by ÖSYM) or 610 on the quantitative section of the GRE exam are eligible to apply to the "Advanced Electronics and Communication Technologies" Master of Science Program. Applicants who have undergraduate degrees in Control Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer Science may also join this master of science program once they have completed the "Scientific Preparatory Program" courses.

Candidates must score at least 55 on the YDS exam (organized by ÖSYM) or equivalent from another accepted national or international exam within their first semester of study.

Master Students
Graduate students accepted to a program taught in English have to prove their proficiency in English before they can start their academic studies. International students who are unable to submit the required English language test scores during their application can take the Istanbul Okan University English Proficiency Test upon arrival. Students who fail the test will attend Istanbul Okan University Intensive English Program for one year. This year is not included in the total number of years required for graduation.

Students accepted to a graduate program taught in Turkish, except for those whose native language are Turkish, have to prove their proficiency in Turkish before they can start the first year of their academic program. Students can take the TOMER examination upon arrival. Students who fail the TOMER test, can take intensive Turkish classes at TOMER or at Istanbul Okan University for a year.

All registrations of faculty / vocational school / vocational school of health services will be taken at tuzla campus (Istanbul Okan University Tuzla Campus, 34959 Akfrat - Tuzla – Istanbul) between 31 August - 5 September.

Registration via e - government will be done between 29 August and 6 September.You can complete your registration procedures without coming to the University.

TRUSTEE DELEGATION HONOR SCHOLARSHIP

To the highly successful students who settled by choosing the 100% scholarship programs of Istanbul Okan University; in score types other than language score type, 1,000 TL for those who settled in the first 1000 during the academic year (8 months), 1,000 TL, monthly + dormitory scholarship (room for 4), only 500 TL monthly for those who settled between 1001-5000, language score type, 1,000 TL monthly + dormitory scholarship (room for 4 people) is given to those who settle in the first 100′ during the academic year (8 months), only 500 TL monthly to those who settle between 101-500, and as an honorary scholarship by the Board of Trustees. ATHLETE SCHOLARSHIP
