Student admissions to our graduate programs are made according to the provisions of YÖK's "Postgraduate Education and Training Regulation" and Acıbadem University's "Postgraduate Education, Training and Examination Regulation". General application conditions, application documents, application and acceptance process for graduate programs are determined and announced by the Institute of Health Sciences and the program coordinators. Candidates can apply directly to the relevant institute by providing the necessary documents. Applications and registrations are made within the periods announced in the Academic Calendar.
• Graduation Degree Requirements:
Candidates who have graduated from a 4-year Faculty / Department and programs or foreign equivalents can apply to the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Doctorate Program.

At least 4-year graduates of the above-mentioned Department / Faculty must have a master's degree in Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Medical Biotechnology, Molecular Biology and Genetics or similar fields.
After the pre-applications are completed, the candidates are evaluated by a committee to be formed by the academicians of Acıbadem University. In order for candidates who have completed their undergraduate and graduate education in a higher education institution abroad to be able to apply to the program, the higher education institution from which they received their diploma, their education and degree must be recognized by YÖK and meet the equivalence conditions.
• Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam Requirement
Candidates are required to obtain the scores announced by the relevant institute and the program coordinator, provided that they are not lower than the minimum scores specified in the exams listed below. Candidates must have at least 55 Equal Weighted or Numerical points from the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES), GRE minimum 610 or GMAT score at least 450. Candidates who have obtained a master's degree are not required to have an ALES result until one year after their graduation.
• Foreign Language Proficiency Requirement
Candidates are required to obtain the scores announced by the relevant institute, provided that they are not lower than the minimum scores specified in the exams listed below.
- TOEFL-IBT: Minimum 87 points
- YDS / ÜDS / KPDS: Minimum 70 points
- There is no English proficiency requirement for candidates who graduate from programs that provide 100% English education.
- Candidates who do not have the above foreign language exam result are required to get a minimum of 70 in the Placement Exam conducted by Acıbadem University Foreign Languages Coordinatorship.
Foreign students must fulfill the following conditions for admission to the Acıbadem University Biostatistics and Bioinformatics graduate program.
- To have graduated from a minimum four-year undergraduate program (B.Sc.) in the relevant fields that can form the basis of bioinformatics mentioned above - The
overall average grade in this undergraduate program must be B / B + (USA system) or at least a "good" degree (UK system- 2nd class upper division)
- To have fluent written and spoken English
- Basic computer that skills (Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, user and structure of the Internet)
- Acıbadem University foreign student admission requirements to provide the
assessment of the admission committee upon application of persons graduated from the relevant area outside this list, mainly for admission will be taken. The program coordinator may apply a Scientific Preparation Program for one or two semesters in order to correct the deficiencies of the candidates who are accepted to the program. However, he / she can determine and exempt their level in certain subjects by doing some interview exams.
