National
College of Ireland is best positioned to welcome you to enjoy small classes, an
innovative learning experience and world class teaching.
Established in 1951, NCI has always had a sole focus on providing skilled
leaders to meet the current and future demands of our industry partners. Today,
in our campus without walls, NCI students have unique opportunities to study
near, meet with and work for some of the world’s biggest and best companies.
International students play a huge part at NCI – our 1200 student population
hails from over 80 countries.
NCI is ranked at 5 stars for Employability by QS Rankings and number 1 for
graduate recruitment according to the Sunday Times University Guide. This guide
ranks all universities in Ireland according to the percentage of graduating
students who get jobs related to their major within six months of graduation.
NCI ranked the highest with 97% of students gaining employment within six
months.
The reason why NCI ranks so high is that they are a unique institution that has
very strong links with industry. NCI was established more than 60 years ago to
serve the specific needs of industry. They have two specialist schools in
Computing and Business. They develop courses with industry by simply asking
them what courses are needed to provide them with graduates with practical
skills that are ready for the workplace. No other academic institution in
Ireland has such strong industry links.
The School of Business sits in the center of Dublin’s International Financial
Services Centre. All of the world’s leading banks and consultancy companies are
within the campus. NCI graduates have gained employment in companies like Citi,
PWC, Morgan Stanley, KPMG and JP Morgan.
NCI provides academic programs where accreditations are provided by QQI
(Quality and Qualifications Ireland). All of these accreditations are
internationally recognized.
